Catfish, located at 1433 Bedford (Crown Heights for sure) is open today. I haven’t had the food but heading over there now. The decor is fabulous and the bar looks great.
Menu is small but it has something for everyone.
AND for the sports people – they have a few TV’s tastefully above [...]
Alice’s Arbor – my new favorite…ok, it’s in Clinton Hill (or Bedstuy) but it is fabulous!
Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks….. Free Wi-Fi

How things have changed
We are getting more and more and better coffee choices. I LOVE the deli coffee for 50 cents. It is really hard to beat that, but, if you are looking for a purer form try the following:

Some fabulous amazing restaurants pop up in obscure places and with little signage. One of the best – open for over 1 year now is:

Classon and Pacific.
